First attempt at soldering

Well, it's somewhat lumpy but not too shabby for my first attempt ever
at soldering!

Some crafty stuff I did on vacation

We took a couple beading classes- Meg had a blast! She made 2 pairs of
earrings, and a book mark. Gma made an earrings and a watch and I made
an earring and a bookmark- this is the bookmark I made. I also watched
some YouTube videos on wirewrapping pendants, here's my first attempt,
not bad! Still have to finish the bail portion. Also Meg and I watched
some polymer clay videos and we had fun with that! I will take another
pic once it's done, all in all we had a good time and it wad nice for
a change of pace for a week.

I learned sonething new today

How to create templates for multiple pictures on a single 4x6 and
create clipping mask. Yay no more wasting photo paper trying to figure
out how to fill a 4x6 piece with 4 or 6 pics!

I'm actually making something!

Maybe my mojo just got back from vacation ;)

The vinyl looks nice

Yay! After trial and error I got the vinyl cut and put on :) I'm very
pleased with it :)
I got the cabinet at Ikea (it was reasonably priced at around $30). The lettering  I  made with the cricut cartridges Storybook, alphalicious, and home decor and vinyl. I made the file on design studio then saved it to the gypsy to cut. (my computer is not hooked to my cricut). Then used some transfer tape to get the vinyl on the cabinet. Here's a peek inside:
and a before:
